Necklace Diana Goddess of Hunt

This neclace is inspired by the Roman Goddess Diana. I basically wanted to use the moon crescents as part of the focal point as Diana is the Roman Moon Goddess. I decided to pick milky white beads along with matte black bead and green beads cause I wanted to represent each one of her aspects. She's the Moon Goddess therefore I chose the milky white beads cause of their way of apbsorbing and sending back the light that hits them. Personally they really reminds me of the moonlight itself. I chose black bead to kinda creep up and increase more towards the back to represent the night itself. I also chose green to get the forest in there since she's also the Goddess of Hunt, and face it... Those scarrabeus green pearls just recently released by Swarovski are to die for... 0.0

This is really something a lot different than what I've created so far. I've really been starting to get out of my comfort zone and create pieces with different beaded components instead of created one solid piece. I do really enjoy it as I also get to play around and try to combine bead embroidery with different beadweaving stitches to assemble them together into one solid piece.

6mm and 3mm Miyuki bugle beads
6x Glass pearls by Gütermann
